Though Blue Wave is a non-profit operation, fees are charged to cover coaching and operating costs. Blue Wave charges a one-time Sign Up Fee as well as a Player Season Fee. Players also pay separate League Fees and Tournament Fees.

Sign-Up Fee: All new players pay a one-time Player Sign-Up fee of $150 to cover administrative setup and includes the player's first cap and game/practice shirt.

Season Fee: Season Fees are $450 per season, roughly $150 per month average. Season fees cover coaching stipends (about 70% of the fee goes directly back to coaches) and general operations. Blue Wave Baseball plays all year round with four distinct seasons - Summer (June, July, August), Fall (September, October, November), Winter (December, January, February) and Spring (March, April, May).

Tournament Fees: Are priced separately and depend on the tournament entry fee, number of coaches attending, travel costs (if any), and team roster size (we basically take the total costs and divide by the number of players attending). Local youth tournaments with no travel average around $55 to $60 per tournament, unless they are high school showcases with high entry fees, whichy can average $125 to $150 per player per tournament. National travel tournaments can range from $150 to $325 per player.

League Fees: Are priced separately and depend the cost of the league entry fee, umpire fees, field rentals, and the number of games. Blue Wave plays in CCYB and AABC leagues and league costs can range from $55-$150 for the season.

Terms: All Season Fees are due when the player is selected to play on the team, prior to the start of the season. If the Season Fee is not paid prior to the season start, the player may be dropped and a new player added. Tournament Fees are paid prior to the start of the tournament and at the request of Blue Wave Baseball.

Refunds: No refunds are provided once the season has started. No refunds are provided if a player quits. If a player is dismissed from the team, a partial refund may or may not be granted depending on the circumstances and is the sole discretion of Blue Wave Baseball.

Payments: Payment Plans and other financial considerations can be arranged and must be approved by Blue Wave Baseball.
