[...] Jason Smith is head baseball coach at La Quinta High School in Westminster as well as a longtime coach for Blue Wave 18U and 16U teams. Smith started coaching in 1999 as assistant baseball coach for Orange Coast Community College and was an assistant coach at Chapman University in 2000-2002 (also 1995-1999), where he was instrumental in helping the team reach the regional playoffs, as well as the College World Series in 1997.
