Though Blue Wave does not have any movies or book deals yet, some of its players were prominently featured in a recent DeMarini commercial for their new line-up of 2012 bats.

The action was filmed last fall at Cal State Fullerton by DeMarini’s video crew. Besides Blue Wave, the Placentia Mustangs and two teams from San Diego were also featured.
“The organization was honored to be asked to participate in their production and it was a lot of fun for the boys,” Blue Wave President Steve Kruse said. “And, they also got a lot of neat stuff for being there.”
Not only did they get to play on the Cal State Fullerton field, DeMarini hooked the players up with new bat bags, batting gloves, and other promotional goodies.
